Exciting opportunity for a Dispute Resolution Legal Secretary to join an expanding team. My client is looking for someone who is a great team player, fast and accurate. Willing to go the extra mile, you will be supporting an individual lawyer and the wider team. You will also provide support to the marketing and business development activities.
The Role
- You will provide full secretarial support to an individual lawyer and/or a wider team.
- Using a digital dictation system to produce correspondence related to Dispute Resolution/Litigation matters.
- Diary management, booking meeting rooms.
- Meeting with clients.
- Production of attendance notes.
- Preparation of trial bundles.
- File and case management, bill preparation.
- Liaising with clients, agents, stakeholders, solicitors, and courts.
- Supporting a team with their marketing and business development activities.
- Supporting other secretaries in the team.
- Photocopying and scanning.
The Candidate
- You will be a Legal Secretary, ideally working within a Litigation Team, although candidates with experience in other areas of law will also be considered.
- Fast and accurate typing skills, including digital audio systems.
- Experience with case management.
- Strong IT Skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Pre-empt problems and identify solutions.
- Well organised and able to prioritise.
- Proofreading, checking for spelling and grammar.
