Our client, a leading law firm based in Chelmsford, has an opportunity for a Title Checker to join their Residential Conveyancing Department. If you are an experienced Conveyancing professional with substantial legal property experience, this may be the perfect role for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Title checking
  • Preparation of contracts
  • Liaising with clients, client’s agents, borrowers, buyer’s solicitors, internal departments
  • Dealing with post completion issues
  • Reporting on title, settling transactions and client reporting
  • Dealing with pre-exchange and post-exchange matters

Personal Specification:

  • Able to manage your own caseload
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to think ahead, prioritise workload, respond to and manage changing circumstances and work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Flexible and positive attitude to work
