My client based in the heart of Chelmsford, with excellent transport links are recruiting for a motivated Commercial Property Solicitor (1 years PQE) or an experienced Paralegal to join their dynamic and expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career with a progressive and supportive firm where your contribution will make a real difference. You’ll handle a varied commercial property caseload, work closely with experienced colleagues, and play an active role in growing the department.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, client-focused, and passionate about building long-term client relationships and contributing to the firm’s continued success.
Day-to-day responsibilities:- A varied caseload of sales and purchases of commercial property for our existing clients whilst establishing new client relationships within the local market.
- Commercial Leases (acting for both Landlord and Tenant)
- Surrendering and Assigning Leases (acting for both Landlord and Tenant)
- Commercial Property Sales and Purchases
- SIPP purchases with leasebacks
- Option Agreements (acting for both Owner and Developer)
- Residential Lease Extensions & Collective Enfranchisement
- Ability to support the growth of a successful commercial department
- Working alongside the team to achieve monthly targets and KPIs
- Growing the Backhouse business – working with the rest of the team to develop new opportunities and communicating our message to attract new clients
- Currently a Solicitor of 1 years PQE or a Paralegal
- Commercial property experience
- Excellent communication skills – confident, clear, articulate and welcoming
- You take pride in what you do and provide the highest level of client service
