Key Responsibilities:- Manage medical negligence matters from initial instruction through to settlement or trial
- Review medical records, expert reports, and evidence to assess the merits of claims
- Instructing counsel and medical experts
- Draft legal documents such as letters of claim, pleadings, witness statements, and settlement agreements
- Conduct negotiations with defendant solicitors, insurers, and NHS Resolutions
- Analyse complex medical and legal issues to determine liability, causation, and quantum
- Work closely with medical experts to obtain opinion evidence
- Prepare cases for mediation, settlement meetings, and court hearings
- Qualified Solicitor 2 + years PQE in Medical Negligence
