I’m working with a firm of solicitors based in Shenfield with excellent transport links. They pride themselves on providing a complete service to both business and private clients with a traditional approach. Due to continued growth, they are now recruiting for an experienced Post Completions Assistant to join their property team.
This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in Post Completions and Land Registry work.
Key Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for managing post-completion work including SDLT returns, AP1 applications, notices, and discharge Land Registry documentation.
- Preparing and submitting Land Registry applications.
- Managing registrations and dealing with requisitions.
- Preparing and managing all post-exchange administration, including completion statements and liaising with clients, solicitors, lenders, and third parties.
- Resolving registration queries and issues.
- Chasing outstanding documents from lenders, landlords, and managing agents to progress registration efficiently.
Requirements
- Previous experience in Post Completions essential.
- Strong knowledge of Land Registry.
- Confident using HM Land Registry’s online services.
- Ability to manage your own workload.
- Excellent communication and IT skills.
