Workshop Production Technician

JRS Associates have partnered with a leading engineering company in Sutton-in-Ashfield to recruit a skilled Workshop Production Technician. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to high standards of repair, maintenance, and overhaul of essential products, including engines, transmissions, and axles. The Package: * Salary: £28,000 per annum * Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm * Benefits: Overtime, Professional development, ongoing training, and potential for growth * Collaborative Environment: Work alongside experienced engineers and mentor apprentices Duties and Responsibilities: * Handle disassembly, inspection, cleaning, and reassembly of engines, transmissions, and other components * Ensure testing and evaluation of completed units to guarantee product reliability and customer satisfaction * Follow ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001) to maintain high quality, environmental, and safety standards * Submit accurate documentation and maintain defect-free products and services * Collaborate with the Parts team to identify and procure required components * Support the daily operations of the workshop and achieve departmental targets * Provide suggestions for operational efficiency improvements and promote good housekeeping Requirements: * Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a mechanical and engineering environment * Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills, particularly with engines and transmissions * Proficiency with diagnostic tools, measurement equipment, and tooling * High attention to detail and organizational skills * Proficient in Microsoft Office applications * Valid driving license Apply Now!
