JRS Associates have partnered up with a growing precision engineering business to recruit a hands-on Senior Manufacturing Engineer. This is not a continuous improvement-only role — this position requires someone technically strong, practical and confident supporting the shopfloor daily. The successful candidate will support full lifecycle manufacturing engineering activities including offline CNC programming across 3, 4 and 5 axis machines.
Package:
- £55,000 to £60,000 per annum
- 39 hours per week
- Monday – Thursday: 08:00am – 17:00pm & Friday: 08:00am – 13:00pm
- Permanent senior-level opportunity
- Early Friday finish

Requirements:
- Proven experience in a Senior Manufacturing Engineer role
- Strong background in precision machining environments
- Confident generating offline CNC programs (3, 4 & 5 axis milling & turning)
- Experience supporting NPI projects from concept to production
- Ability to produce stage drawings, setup documentation & SOPs
- Experience with tooling & fixturing design
- Strong shopfloor support and problem-solving capability
- Knowledge of PFMEA & supporting quality functions
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles
- Able to lead technical discussions with suppliers & customers
- Ideally HNC qualified (or equivalent experience)
