JRS Associates have partnered up with an established precision engineering company to recruit an experienced CNC Turner – Setter / Operator. This is a stable, long-term role within a supportive manufacturing environment, producing precision components on Fanuc-controlled CNC lathes.
Package:
- £28,000 per annum
- Overtime available
- Day shift pattern:
- Monday – Thursday: 7:30am – 4:00pm
- Friday: 7:30am – 11:30am (early finish)

Requirements:
- Setting and operating Fanuc-controlled CNC lathes
- Working from detailed engineering drawings
- Producing components to tight tolerances
- Tool changes, offsets, and basic fault finding
- Carrying out in-process inspection using manual measuring equipment
- Maintaining high standards of quality and housekeeping
- Working to health & safety and quality procedures
Experience & Skills:
- Proven experience as a CNC Turner – Setter / Operator
- Strong understanding of Fanuc controls
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
