JRS Associates have partnered up with an established plastic injection moulding specialist to recruit two skilled Toolmakers / Bench Hands to join their experienced tooling team on a permanent basis. This is a long-term opportunity offering consistent overtime, strong hourly rates, and job security within a well-equipped toolroom environment.
The Successful Toolmaker / Bench Hand – Package:
- £16.50 – £18.50 per hour (depending on experience)
- 39-hour standard working week
- Overtime available – as much as you want (enhanced overtime rates apply)
- 25 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays
- Permanent, full-time positions
- Stable workload within a specialist injection moulding environment
The Successful Toolmaker / Bench Hand – Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Toolmaker / Bench Hand
- Strong knowledge of plastic injection moulding tools
- Experience assembling plastic injection moulding tools
- Confident using conventional machinery, including:
- Milling machines
- Lathes
- Surface grinders
- Hand tools
- Bed-out tooling
- Polishing and finishing
