JRS Associates Ltd has partnered with a leading precision engineering manufacturer to recruit an experienced Maintenance Engineer – Electrical Bias.

Working as part of the maintenance team, you'll be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding, electrical installations and supporting continuous improvement across a busy manufacturing facility.
- The Successful Maintenance Engineer – Electrical Bias – Package
- Permanent position
- Rotating shift pattern
- Days: Monday – Friday, 6:00am – 2:00pm
- Afternoons: Monday – Friday, 2:00pm – 10:00pm
- Nights (introduced after training): Monday – Thursday, 8:45pm – 6:00am
- Overtime available
- 1.3x for the first 2 overtime hours
- 1.5x after 39.5 hours

- The Successful Maintenance Engineer – Electrical Bias – Role
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults across manufacturing equipment
- Carry out electrical installation work when required
- Support plant reliability and minimise downtime
- Fault find using electrical drawings and control systems
- Work safely in accordance with company Health & Safety procedures
- Complete maintenance documentation accurately
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Liaise with production teams and external contractors where required
- The Successful Maintenance Engineer – Electrical Bias – Requirements
- Recognised Electrical or Multi-Skilled Maintenance Apprenticeship (or equivalent)
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing or heavy engineering environment
- Strong electrical fault-finding skills
- Experience carrying out planned and reactive maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
- Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures
- Computer literate
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
