JRS Associates Ltd has partnered with a leading precision engineering manufacturer to recruit an experienced Maintenance Engineer – Electrical Bias.

Working as part of the maintenance team, you'll be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding, electrical installations and supporting continuous improvement across a busy manufacturing facility.

  • The Successful Maintenance Engineer – Electrical Bias – Package
  • Permanent position
  • Rotating shift pattern
  • Days: Monday – Friday, 6:00am – 2:00pm
  • Afternoons: Monday – Friday, 2:00pm – 10:00pm
  • Nights (introduced after training): Monday – Thursday, 8:45pm – 6:00am
  • Overtime available
  • 1.3x for the first 2 overtime hours
  • 1.5x after 39.5 hours

  • The Successful Maintenance Engineer – Electrical Bias – Role
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults across manufacturing equipment
  • Carry out electrical installation work when required
  • Support plant reliability and minimise downtime
  • Fault find using electrical drawings and control systems
  • Work safely in accordance with company Health & Safety procedures
  • Complete maintenance documentation accurately
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Liaise with production teams and external contractors where required
  • The Successful Maintenance Engineer – Electrical Bias – Requirements
  • Recognised Electrical or Multi-Skilled Maintenance Apprenticeship (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing or heavy engineering environment
  • Strong electrical fault-finding skills
  • Experience carrying out planned and reactive maintenance
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures
  • Computer literate
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
