JRS Associates have partnered up with an established and growing engineering manufacturer to recruit an experienced Quality Inspector to join their team. This is a long-term, secure role offering excellent working hours, strong benefits, and a clean, well-organised inspection environment. The Successful Quality Inspector – Package: * £17.00 to £17.50 per hour * 37.5 hours per week – (Mon–Thurs: 8.00am – 4.30pm & Friday: 8.00am – 1.30pm) * Free on-site parking * Free hot drinks * Workplace pension scheme * 23 days holiday + bank holidays * Long-term job security with a supportive quality team The Successful Quality Inspector – Requirements: * Experienced Quality Inspector from an engineering or manufacturing background * Minimum 2 years’ hands-on inspection experience * Skilled using Vernier Callipers, Micrometers, Gauges, and ideally FARO Arm * Confident completing first-off inspections, FAI reports, and maintaining inspection records * Able to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately * Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with Quality Engineers * Excellent attention to detail with a methodical, organised approach * Good IT skills and ability to maintain clean, structured inspection work areas * Confident identifying defects and reporting repeating quality concerns The Successful Quality Inspector – Key Responsibilities: * Dimensional inspection using precision tools (Verniers, Micrometers, Gauges, FARO arm) * Conducting first-off inspections within production * Performing aesthetic inspections * Completing FAI (First Article Inspection) reports * Working with Quality Engineers to resolve issues * Reporting and escalating quality defects * Maintaining accurate inspection records * Keeping the inspection office clean and organised Apply now!
