JRS Associates have partnered up with an established specialist manufacturer to recruit a Payroll Administrator to join their Finance team on a permanent, part-time basis. This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced payroll professional looking for a genuinely flexible part-time position, offering a minimum of 20 hours per week with the opportunity to work additional hours if desired.

Package:

  • £14.00 per hour

Requirements:

  • Previous experience processing and administering payroll within a similar role
  • Good working knowledge of PAYE and National Insurance (NIC)
  • Experience processing statutory payments including SSP, SMP, SAP and SPP
  • Experience processing starters, leavers and payroll adjustments
  • Experience with pension administration and monthly reconciliations
  • Knowledge of year-end payroll processes including P60s and P11Ds
  • Experience maintaining payroll, time and attendance records
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to process payroll accurately and meet monthly deadlines
  • Comfortable handling confidential employee and payroll information
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
  • Experience using Sage Payroll / Sage Line 50 would be advantageous
  • Confident communicating with HMRC and resolving payroll queries
  • Strong organisational, administrative and problem-solving skills
