JRS Associates Ltd has partnered up with an exciting manufacturer in the local area and we’re looking to add an experienced Mechanical Fitter to the team. The position comes due to a consistent intake of healthy, long-standing contracts. The Successful Mechanical Fitter – Package: * £16.97 to £20.16 per hour * Days shift (Mon to Thurs, 7:30am – 4:30pm & Friday, 7:30am – 12:30pm) * Overtime available & paid at 1.5x * Holiday entitlement – 33 days (including statutory) * Company Sick Pay Scheme active after 1 year of service * Modern, Clean working environment * Free Parking The Successful Mechanical Fitter – Requirements: * Experience / Knowledge of building defence assemblies * Time Served / Level 3 Apprenticeship in a relevant discipline * Mechanical Assembly: 5 years experience * Manual Machining: 3 years experience * Excellent Interpersonal skills, comfortable working as part of a team * Experience of working within relevant industries; Nuclear, Defence * Experience of working with a wide range of assemblies in size and weight * Experience of working to tight tolerances If you’re interested in finding out more or you believe yourself to be the right Mechanical Fitter for the role, apply, and if successful you’ll receive a call within 48 hours explaining the next steps
