JRS Associates have partnered up with an exciting company in West Bromwich to recruit experienced CNC Millers – Setter / Operator / Programmers to join their growing precision engineering team. Due to continued investment and increased workload, they are hiring for both Days and Permanent Night Shift positions β€” with the possibility of a compressed 4-day working week on nights. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established precision engineering business producing high-quality, tight-tolerance components. The Successful CNC Miller – Setter / Operator / Programmer – Package: Days Shift: * Β£20.00 per hour * Monday – Thursday: 7:00am – 3:30pm * Friday: 7:00am – 2:00pm Permanent Night Shift: * Β£24.00 per hour * Standard: Monday – Friday, 4:00pm – 12:00am * Potential compressed hours option (4-day working week) * Permanent positions * Overtime available * Early Friday finish on days * Excellent earning potential on nights * Stable, well-invested precision engineering environment The Successful CNC Miller – Setter / Operator / Programmer – Requirements: * Proven experience setting, operating and programming CNC milling machines * Strong experience with Heidenhain controls * Ability to programme online from engineering drawings * Experience machining one-offs and small batch precision components * Comfortable working to tight tolerances * Self-inspection using micrometers, verniers and gauges * Ability to work independently and take ownership of your machine Whether you prefer structured days with early finishes or want to maximise earnings on nights β€” potentially across just 4 working days β€” this is a strong opportunity within a stable precision engineering business.
