JRS Associates have partnered up with an exciting precision engineering company in Sheffield to recruit a skilled Manual Turner to join their established and highly capable machining team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable business working on large, complex components within a well-equipped workshop environment.
Package:
- £18.00 – £19.00 per hour
- Monday to Thursday, 6:00am – 4:15pm (4-day working week)
- Overtime available at premium rates
- Long-term, stable opportunity within a well-established business

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Manual Turner within a precision engineering environment
- Strong experience working on small to large components
- Experience using Horizontal Boring machines is highly desirable
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Competent using manual measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers, etc.)
- Experience working to tight tolerances
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
