JR PAT Testing is an expanding PAT and Compliance company located in Romford, looking for experienced Portable Appliance Testers to work in a self‑employed capacity. Applicants may work part‑time or full‑time and will have flexible hours based on the job assignments. The role involves testing a wide variety of electrical appliances in multiple environments such as hospitals, retail outlets and corporate offices.
Responsibilities include:
- Travel to and perform PAT testing on a range of electrical appliances.
- Operate test instruments, record findings and maintain accurate reports.
- Provide clear explanations of results and recommend remedial actions.
- Complete necessary paperwork such as completion certificates and checklists.
- Stay organised and ensure all tests are completed efficiently and accurately.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Self‑employed status and own insurance.
