JR PAT Testing is a rapidly growing PAT and Compliance Company in Westminster seeking experienced PAT Engineers to join our team. We offer self‑employment with flexible hours, allowing individuals to work part‑time or full‑time. Our onboarding process starts with a friendly conversation. All our engineers must provide their own insurance and have their equipment calibrated at least once a year. In return, we provide an engineer handbook, a contract for services, branded clothing, labels and technical support.

Responsibilities
- Transport your own high‑quality testing equipment and maintain it in good working order.
- Conduct portable appliance testing in a variety of locations – hospitals, retail outlets, offices, etc.
- Use testers and record books to check electrical items such as microwaves, kettles and computers for safety.
- Inform users of test results and explain when appliances are unsafe or require replacement or repair.
- Record findings in a dedicated PAT test report book or electronic system; provide employers with completed certificates and checklists.
- Plan and organise daily routes; keep tests accurate, efficient and meet regulations.

- City & Guilds 2377 PAT qualification or equivalent.
- Reliable, honest and can‑do attitude.
- Good communication skills to explain results to users.
