Job Overview JR PAT Testing is rapidly expanding across the UK and we are looking for experienced PAT Engineers to join our team.

All positions are self‑employed and require the engineer to have insurance and equipment calibrated at least once a year.

In return, you will receive an engineer handbook, a contract for services, branded clothing, labels, and technical support.

Key Responsibilities Conduct portable appliance testing (PAT) for a variety of client sites such as hospitals, retail outlets, and work environments.

Use test instruments to verify the safety of appliances and provide results to users and employers.

Document findings in dedicated PAT test report books or electronic systems and issue completion certificates and checklists.

Maintain and transport all testing equipment, ensuring it is kept up‑to‑date and in good working order.

Travel to client sites across the national area, with a basic requirement that all applicants can commute reasonably to Aberystwyth or be willing to travel further.
