JR PAT Testing is growing rapidly across the UK and is looking for experienced Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) Engineers to join our team in North Greenwich. Positions are self‑employed and offer flexible hours, allowing part‑time or full‑time work. All engineers must bring their own insurance and equipment, which must be calibrated at least once a year. You will receive an engineer handbook, service contracts, branded clothing, labels, and technical support.

Responsibilities
- Travel to client sites such as hospitals, retail outlets, offices, and factories.
- Test portable appliances including microwaves, kettles, computers and other electrical equipment for safety.
- Inform users of results and explain reasons for replacement or repair.
- Record findings in dedicated test reports or electronic systems, and provide employers with copies.
- Complete additional paperwork such as completion certificates and checklists.
- Maintain equipment in good working order and ensure it meets relevant regulations.
- Manage time effectively while moving between locations, either alone or as part of a team.
