JR PAT Testing is expanding across the UK and looking for self‑employed PAT Engineers to work primarily in Mill Hill. Flexible hours and both part‑time and full‑time opportunities are available. Roles involve travelling to a variety of sites such as hospitals, retail outlets, offices, and schools.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to client sites and perform Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) on a range of electrical appliances.

  • Maintain accurate and timely records, ensuring all tests meet relevant regulations.
  • Keep all testing equipment calibrated, up‑to‑date, and in good working order.
  • Plan and manage daily workload, ensuring efficient use of travel time and resources.

Qualifications

  • City & Guilds 2377 PAT qualification or equivalent.
  • Prior experience performing PAT or related electrical safety testing.
  • Own equipment and valid insurance.
  • Calibrated instruments at least once a year.
  • Reliability, honesty, and a can‑do attitude.
  • Ability to travel and work within a reasonable commuting distance to Mill Hill.
