Job Description
JR PAT Testing is an expanding PAT and Compliance Company currently looking for engineers to join our team in Islington. We offer flexible hours, allowing part‑time or full‑time work. Responsibilities include traveling to client sites, testing all appliances (microwaves, kettles, computers, etc.) using standard test instruments, recording results in a dedicated test report book or electronic system, completing required paperwork such as completion certificates and checklists, and informing users of results. The role requires you to keep all necessary equipment up‑to‑date, safe and in good working order, and to meet relevant regulations. You must hold a City & Guilds 2377 PAT qualification or equivalent, be reliable, honest, and have a can‑do attitude.
Typical Day
As a PAT engineer, you will begin each day by packing your tools and equipment into your van, travel to the first job, conduct tests, record findings, and complete paperwork. You may work alone or in a team and will keep your work organized and accurate at all times.
