JR PAT Testing is an expanding PAT and Compliance Company looking for self‑employed PAT Engineers to join our Dundee team. Positions offer flexible hours and the ability to work part‑time or full‑time.
Responsibilities
- Conduct portable appliance testing (PAT) at a variety of sites including hospitals, retail outlets and other workplaces.
- Inspect appliances such as microwaves, kettles, computers and other electrical items to determine safety.
- Record test results in dedicated test reports or electronic systems.
- Provide completion certificates, checklists and explanatory reports to employers.
- Travel to client sites in own vehicle, keeping all equipment calibrated and up to date.
- Maintain a professional and honest approach, keeping customers informed of results.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Holder of City & Guilds 2377 PAT qualification or equivalent.
- Self‑employed with own vehicle, insurance and calibrated testing equipment.
- Reliable, honest and demonstrates a “can‑do” attitude.
- Able to commute within Dundee or nearby areas, or travel nationally as required.
