Job Description: As a PAT engineer you will conduct portable appliance testing across a range of sites including hospitals, retail outlets, and offices. Your responsibilities will include packing and transporting testing equipment, performing tests on appliances such as microwaves, kettles and computers, and recording results. You will communicate findings to clients, provide completion certificates and checklists, and ensure all equipment is up to date and calibrated annually.
Additional responsibilities include maintaining reliable and honest client relations, demonstrating a can‑do attitude, and keeping up-to-date with relevant regulations and safety standards. We provide an engineer handbook, a contract for services, branded clothing, labels and technical support. All engineers must have their own insurance and must have their equipment calibrated at least once a year.
