JR PAT Testing is an expanding PAT and Compliance Company currently looking for experienced PAT engineers to join our team in Cheltenham. We offer self‐employed positions with flexible hours, allowing you to work part‐time or full‐time. All engineers must have their own insurance and calibrated equipment, meet the City & Guilds 2377 PAT qualification or equivalent, and be reliable and honest with a can‐do attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Perform portable appliance testing (PAT) at a variety of sites such as hospitals, retail outlets and offices.
  • Use testing instruments to assess electrical safety and determine whether appliances are fit for use.
  • Record results accurately in test reports, completion certificates and checklists; provide copies to clients.
  • Inform users of findings, explain reasons for any recommendations for repair or replacement.
  • Maintain and update all testing equipment and safety documentation.
  • Travel to multiple locations efficiently, working alone or as part of a team, and keep operations organised.
