JRL Modular are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative for a Permanent PAYE position at our factory in Carlton-On-Trent, NG23.
DUTIES
- Material Supply: Pick and deliver materials to factory assembly lines in accordance with production schedules.
- Inventory Handling: Monitor stock levels, report discrepancies, and assist with inventory counts and audits.
- Large Module Movement: Safely transport large modules and components using appropriate lifting and handling equipment.
- Skip Management: Empty and manage waste skips, ensuring proper disposal and recycling procedures are followed.
- Yard Housekeeping: Maintain cleanliness and organization of external yard areas, including sweeping, waste removal, and general upkeep.
- Warehouse Operations: Load/unload deliveries, verify incoming goods, and store items in designated locations.
- Equipment Use: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery safely and efficiently.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all health and safety guidelines, including PPE usage and hazard reporting.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with production, logistics, and maintenance teams to support overall operational efficiency.
SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED
- Experience of working in a similar environment
- Appropriate fork lift truck licence (counterbalance)
- Desirable: Cherry Picker/Combi Lift/Banksman – although training may be given
- Drive and motivation
- Flexible in approach to working hours (on occasions loading has to be done outside of normal working hours)
- Excellent attendance and reliability record
- Be a team player
HOURS & SALARY
- Permanent PAYE Position
- Weekly Paid
- Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 16:00pm
- Friday 7:30am to 15:00pm
- 40hr working week Monday to Friday
