Transport Compliance Administrator Location: Birmingham JRL Environmental is a part of the JRL Group which encompasses 14+ divisions delivering bespoke solutions for the most complex construction projects. The company is a specialist within the haulage and waste sectors, with a fleet of over 100 HGV vehicles and depots nationwide. Due to continued growth we are looking for a Compliance Administrator with transport experience. Role & Responsibilities: * Ensure all vehicles are recorded on the correct Operators License * Processing of defect reports * Ensure all vehicles and trailers are inspected on a 6-weekly basis in line with the current operator’s License requirement * Ensure all vehicles and trailers have an annual MOT * Ensure all vehicles with lifts have a valid LOLER certificate * Ensure all vehicles have valid tachograph calibration certificates * Ensure that all vehicles and trailers are recorded on the appropriate lists, with the relevant information listed next to them regarding costings, on hire dates etc * Update systems recording the above information (Fleet Check and Service Planner as required). * Must have previous experience working in a busy transport/waste organisation * Overseeing the compliance administration for the fleet as a whole, assisting all depots with their servicing and maintenance compliance. Knowledge of FORS * Generate fleet related purchase orders when required covering all fleet leasing costs and damages * Ensure that all vehicles have fuel cards which are maintained and are linked to the appropriate cost centres With an ambitious strategy, we’re poised for further growth and success, so if you’re committed, talented and enthusiastic, the JRL Group is the right place for you
