JRL Group is a highly successful, privately owned national construction group headquartered in North London. With continued growth across our specialist divisions, we are now looking to recruit a Transport Administrator to join our central Transport team based at our Borehamwood Head Office. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive administrator to support the day-to-day running of our in-house transport function within a fast-paced and growing construction business.

THE ROLE

As a Transport Administrator, you will provide administrative support to the Transport team, helping to ensure the efficient coordination of vehicles, drivers, and transport-related documentation across the Group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Transport department
  • Maintain and update transport records, databases, and spreadsheets
  • Assist with vehicle and driver compliance documentation
  • Liaise with drivers, site teams, and internal stakeholders
  • Support scheduling, allocation, and tracking of vehicles
  • Process transport-related paperwork accurately and efficiently
  • Ensure company procedures and compliance standards are followed
  • Assist with general office administration duties as required

Skills & Experience

  • Previous administration experience essential; transport or logistics experience desirable
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident using Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office packages
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong communication skills with a professional telephone manner
  • Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
