Trent Precast are looking for a detail-focused and reliable Quality Inspector to join their production team on a permanent basis. This role plays a vital part in ensuring finished precast concrete units meet required quality standards before dispatch.
Key Responsibilities of a Quality Inspector:
- Inspect finished precast concrete units to ensure they meet company and customer quality standards.
- Identify, record, and report defects accurately using quality check sheets and internal systems.
- Carry out visual and dimensional checks in line with drawings, specifications, and tolerances.
- Ensure any non-conforming products are clearly identified and communicated to supervisors and production teams.
- Support corrective actions by working closely with production staff to resolve quality issues.
- Maintain clear and accurate quality records for traceability and audit purposes.
- Ensure all inspections are carried out in line with health and safety procedures.
