Stairmaster -Peterborough
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will play a key role in driving business growth by preparing accurate quotes and managing client relationships. This is a dynamic part-time position combining technical estimating with proactive sales follow-ups for stair formwork and handrails.
Typical 30 hours a week, can be adapted to suit the right candidate. - This is a PART TIME position, therefore the salary will be pro-rata.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Estimating & Quoting: Prepare accurate quotes based on technical construction drawings for stair formwork and handrails.
- Client Account Management: Revise existing quotes, issue formal applications to clients, and handle incoming sales inquiries.
- Proactive Sales Follow-ups: Conduct follow-up calls with clients to secure projects and build lasting commercial relationships.
- Team Collaboration: Liaise with the design team to update pricing where changes have been encountered during the design process.
Skills & Qualifications
Full training on our specific systems will be provided, but the following attributes are highly desirable:
- Drawing Literacy: Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
- Communication Skills: Comfortable making phone calls, following up on leads, and speaking with clients.
- Technical Aptitude: Strong basic math skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Schedule: Ability to commit to a consistent part-time schedule (hours/days negotiable).
