An exciting opportunity has arisen within one of JRL Group's key divisions; McMullen Facades Ltd.
The JRL Group is a highly successful, privately owned, national construction group head quartered in North London. With a turnover of in excess of £360m, the business is currently experiencing growth and as such seeks to strengthen our Facade team.
McMullen Facades specializes in the manufacture and delivery of facade units based in the heart of the country in Nottingham.
Hours: 2pm to 10pm Monday to Friday.
Role Overview:
The Press Brake Operative is responsible for setting up and operating press brake machinery to bend and form metal components to specification. This role requires attention to detail, a focus on quality, and the ability to work efficiently within a production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate press brake machines in line with job specifications
- Read and interpret basic engineering drawings
- Select correct tooling and materials for each job
- Carry out basic quality checks to ensure accuracy
- Make minor adjustments to maintain consistency and quality
- Load and unload materials safely
- Keep work area clean and organised
- Follow production schedules and meet targets
Skills & Experience Required:
- Previous press brake experience preferred but not essential
- Ability to read basic technical drawings
