An exciting opportunity has arisen within one of JRL Group's key divisions; Trent Precast Concrete Ltd. The JRL Group is a highly successful, privately owned, national construction group headquartered in North London. With a turnover of in excess of £360m, the business is currently experiencing growth and as such seeks to strengthen our Precast team. Trent Precast specializes in the manufacture and delivery of structural precast concrete units based in the heart of the country in Nottingham.

Weekly pay PAYE, 20 days holiday plus all bank holidays, Free on-site gym to use, Pension Scheme, Free on-site Parking.

Labourer McMullen Facades are looking for general labourers that would be interested in a permanent role manufacturing construction components. No previous manufacturing experience is required as full training would be provided. Previous construction experience is an advantage but again not essential.

Working hours: Monday – Friday 7am – 5pm or 6am - 4pm or 2pm - 12 am (occasionally).

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the manufacturing and assembly of architectural facade components, including metal framing systems, glass panels, and composite materials.
  • Learn to operate machinery and equipment under the guidance of experienced technicians and supervisors.
  • Follow and adhere to safety procedures to maintain a secure working environment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines, contributing to a positive and efficient work environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or construction-related role would be advantageous.
  • Experience in using hand and power tools, with the ability to learn and adapt to new equipment quickly.
  • Attention to detail and quality to ensure accurate and precise workmanship.
  • Effective communication skills to follow instructions and work as a team.
