An exciting opportunity has arisen within one of JRL Group's key divisions; McMullen Facades. The JRL Group is a highly successful, privately owned, national construction group headquartered in North London. With a turnover of in excess of £360m, the business is currently experiencing growth and as such seeks to strengthen our Precast team. Trent Precast specializes in the manufacture and delivery of structural precast concrete units based in the heart of the country in Nottingham.

McMullen Facades Ltd are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Compliance Officer to join their team based in Colwick.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
  • Friday: 8:00am – 2:00pm
  • 1-hour break included

Role Overview

As the Factory Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing all administrative aspects of Health & Safety (H&S), quality assurance, and environmental compliance within factory operations. Your primary focus will be on H&S administration, including the management and presentation of risk assessments, standard operating procedures (SOPs), toolbox talks, and associated documentation. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain H&S administrative systems, including risk assessments, SOPs, and toolbox talks
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify hazards and areas for improvement
  • Coordinate training sessions to ensure employees understand H&S procedures
  • Support the investigation of accidents, incidents, and near misses, recommending corrective actions
  • Maintain accurate compliance records across H&S, quality, and environmental standards
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure adherence to regulations and company policies
  • Stay up to date with relevant legislation and industry best practices, updating procedures where required
  • Support quality assurance processes to maintain product standards and customer satisfaction
  • Assist with environmental compliance initiatives, including waste management and sustainability
