JRL Group's East Midlands offsite manufacturing facilities, conveniently located adjacent to the A1 in Carlton on Trent, between Retford and Newark. At JRL we are looking for Electrical improvers, you will be responsible for the full electrical fit-out of our Modular Utility Cupboards (PUCs), taking units from 1st-fix containment through to final testing and connection. Monday – Thursday (7:30am – 4:00pm) & Friday (7:30am – 3:00pm).

Your Responsibilities

  • Working from schematics and layout drawings.
  • Containment, lighting, and general install.
  • Connection and wiring of electrical circuits ensuring compatibility of components.
  • Work in a timely and productive manner to complete assigned tasks.
  • Flexible approach to working hours dependent on the needs of the job.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience of general Wiring.
  • ECS / JIB Card (Preferred but not essential)
  • 18th Edition (Preferred but not essential)
  • Ability to read technical schematic drawings and diagrams.
  • A good understanding of health & safety legislation.
  • Punctual, organised and good communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Permanent position with access to overtime.
  • All required tools are provided on-site.
