Ark Mechanical & Electrical Services was created in line with the JRL Group’s philosophy of ‘owning the solution’. With MEP vital to the success of every project, the Group identified that dividing the package had the potential to adversely affect the critical path. Taking control of this, Ark M&E provides a complete mechanical, electrical and public health (MEP) solution for large complex residential projects.

We require an Electrical Supervisor to join our team at Ferry Island.

Role & Responsibilities:
  • Supervision of electrical works, health and safety and project management.
  • Working with client's project team up until final handover.
  • Supervision of up to 20 operatives plus specialist sub-contractors.
  • Managing quality of works and snagging to ensure client standards are met.
  • Attending progress meetings with the Project Manager and client representatives as required.
Requirements:
  • Have excellent working knowledge of electrical installation and possess technical qualifications.
  • Good reporting and communication skills with an ability to get the most out of those being supervised.
  • Residential experience required.
  • Appropriate City and Guilds Electrical Qualifications C&G 2391 Testing & Inspection & 17th Edition.
  • Health and safety qualifications a plus but not essential.

This position will suit an Electrical Supervisor who has gained their experience with a sub-contractor, main contractor, or specialist M&E contractor.
