JRL Group are looking for an experienced Chef Supervisor / Kitchen Manager to work on a large new build construction project in Brent Cross, London NW2. You would initially be required to work from JRL Group head office canteen in Borehamwood, WD6 and then moving to the site canteen from January 2026. This job is available to start immediately and is a full time permanent PAYE position.
About us: The JRL Group is a leading Construction company that specialises in Main Contracting & RC Frames along with 14+ divisions delivering bespoke solutions for the most complex projects.
Responsibilities:
- Manage kitchen operations and food production for site.
- Control food costs and portion sizes.
- Manage stock.
- Plan menus.
- Line manages catering staff, including rotas and performance.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
Requirements:
- Culinary training.
- Supervisory experience, and strong leadership.
- Food Preparation and Cooking Level 2 or 3.
- Health and Hygiene Level 2 or 3.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a chef supervisor.
- Valid Work Permit / Right to Work in UK.
Salary & Hours:
- Up to Β£35,000 annual salary DOE.
- Monday to Friday 06:00 to 16:00pm with 1 hour lunch break.
