JRL Group's East Midlands offsite manufacturing facilities, conveniently located adjacent to the A1 in Carlton on Trent, between Retford and Newark.
Location: Carlton on Trent, NG23 6NT
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:30 am to 4:00 pm and Friday 7:30 am to 3:00 pm
JRL Modular are looking for Factory Operatives to assemble bathrooms and utility cupboards to supply to its onsite projects. No previous experience is required as full training is provided along with all the necessary tools and equipment. This is a Permanent PAYE position based at JRL Modular factory in Newark, NG23. Due to continued growth we are seeking new recruits to join our team. Enthusiasm, reliability and commitment far outweigh previous experience.
Responsibilities- Assembly of modular apartments, bathrooms & utility cupboards
- Basic carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical & other maintenance duties
- Ensure all company procedures are followed
- Undertake training required and assist in training other team members in tasks you are proficient at
- Keep factory areas and work space tidy, maintain high level of housekeeping
- Work safely and take responsibility for the health & safety of yourself and colleagues
- Perform any other duties required by factory supervisors
- Previous assembly or basic construction experience preferred but not essential
- Manual handling and use of power tools preferred but not essential
- Flexible team player with a responsive and can-do attitude
- Ability to follow a process and work to targets – H&S, quality and productivity
- Punctual with an excellent time-keeping and attendance record
- Enthusiastic and eager to learn new skills
