Requirements of Precast Design Engineer / Manager
- 3 yrs+ Experience within precast & structural components detailing and manufacturing essential.
- CEng / MICE or working towards would be advantageous.
- Experience within GRC Design and manufacture.
- Experience of using CAD software and ability to work on own initiative.
- Ability to help lead a small team.
Responsibilities of Precast Design Engineer / Manager
- Reporting to Senior Management with project status and reports.
- Leading design development and engineering of components to work for manufacturing.
- Ability to review manufacture drawings form a factory perspective and raise concerns with Management and comment on any requirements.
- Ensuring all required information is gathered and re-laid to the manufacturing team both on the manufacture drawings and in a simple document.
- Liaising between clients and own team to ensure smooth flow of information.
- Leading a small design team and ability to sign off on manufacture proposals
