Stairmaster are looking for an experienced Revit Technician for a permanent PAYE position based in Whittlesey, Peterborough. This position is available to start immediately.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed 3D models of stair systems using Revit.
  • Produce fabrication-ready shop drawings and construction documentation.
  • Coordinate stair models with architects, structural engineers, and general contractors.
  • Interpret architectural and structural drawings to create accurate stair layouts.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes and project specifications.
  • Assist with BIM coordination and clash detection.
  • Revise models and drawings based on engineering feedback and field measurements.
  • Maintain drawing standards and file organization.
  • Collaborate with production and project management teams to ensure design intent aligns with manufacturing capabilities.

Required Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (2+ years preferred).
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings and detailing.
  • Experience producing shop drawings for fabrication.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural plans.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in stair, railing, or metal fabrication.
  • Knowledge of building codes related to stair design.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and/or Inventor.
  • Familiarity with BIM coordination processes.
