Stairmaster are looking for an experienced Revit Technician for a permanent PAYE position based in Whittlesey, Peterborough. This position is available to start immediately.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed 3D models of stair systems using Revit.
- Produce fabrication-ready shop drawings and construction documentation.
- Coordinate stair models with architects, structural engineers, and general contractors.
- Interpret architectural and structural drawings to create accurate stair layouts.
- Ensure compliance with building codes and project specifications.
- Assist with BIM coordination and clash detection.
- Revise models and drawings based on engineering feedback and field measurements.
- Maintain drawing standards and file organization.
- Collaborate with production and project management teams to ensure design intent aligns with manufacturing capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (2+ years preferred).
- Strong understanding of construction drawings and detailing.
- Experience producing shop drawings for fabrication.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural plans.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in stair, railing, or metal fabrication.
- Knowledge of building codes related to stair design.
- Experience with AutoCAD and/or Inventor.
- Familiarity with BIM coordination processes.
