Ark M&E (Minor Works & Temporaries) is looking for an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer for a mobile role covering London, South East (Southampton & Woking) and Midlands (Birmingham & Peterborough). This is a long‑term weekly paid CIS position available to start immediately.

Job Duties:

  • Working for Ark M&E minor works and temporaries division.
  • New build apartments and some commercial office fit‑out works.
  • Wireless fire alarm install, maintenance and repairs.

Essential experience:

  • Experience with Cygnus, Howler or similar wireless temporary fire alarm systems.
  • Ideally with fire extinguisher service training but not essential.

Work Schedule:

  • Long term work available.
  • 7:00am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday with 1 hour lunch (9hrs worked).

Compensation:

  • £ Negotiable Depending on experience.
  • Van and Fuel Card provided.
  • CIS / UTR Payment (No umbrella companies / fees).

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years experience as a Fire Alarm Engineer.
  • Essential experience with Cygnus, Howler or similar wireless temporary fire alarm systems.
  • Valid Work Permit / Right to Work in the UK.
