Your Role
- Produce and develop high quality 2D/3D detailed drawings.
- Drawing production from conception to manufacturing and installation.
- Develop bespoke façade systems.
- Develop Tender bay studies including coordination with Tender Department.
- Independent evaluation of project requirements such as ERs and specification.
- Definition of deliverable in our ASFD, Project Structure and document register together with the Technical Manager.
- Ability to prepare, explain and coordinate technical issues.
- Attend internal and external design workshops with multidisciplinary teams.
- Awareness of the SD deliverables and related program.
- Coordination of the drawings and related comments (Comment tracker).
- Follow ASFD working methods and rules.
- Independent clarification of technical details with suppliers.
- Coordination and definition of technical details with internal parties such as engineering, production, etc.
- Identify areas of improvement and develop strategic proposals for implementation.
Your Skills
- Minimum 5 years experience as a designer in the Facade Industry.
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position in System Design.
- Good knowledge of common standard systems for Stick-, Doors and Windows.
- Very good AutoCAD skills.
- Good Microsoft Office skills.
- Revit and Inventor skills are not necessary but a benefit.
- Good technical understanding and organised way of working.
- Advanced knowledge of manufacturing and construction of bespoke façade systems.
- Promote best practice, very good understanding of building regulations and relevant standards.
- Proactive team leader who is able to train, guide and lead a team of several people.
- Capable to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Good communication skills.
- Ambitious professional with willingness to travel.
- Fluent in English.
