An exciting opportunity within our Drylining division has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor. We have recently won several new construction projects across Central London and want to give an aspiring Quantity Surveyor the chance to join our well‑established team. We will develop with you a clear progression path from day one, offer support and training through our dedicated training & development department, and give you exciting construction projects to get involved in. The role will involve managing drylining packages on multiple projects from pre‑contract through to final account.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and managing cost plans and budgets for drylining projects
- Producing valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Procurement of materials and subcontract packages
- Measuring works from drawings and site surveys
- Liaising with clients, site teams, and subcontractors
- Managing payments, cost reporting, and cash flow
- Ensuring commercial compliance and profitability
Requirements
- Proven experience as a QS within drylining / partitions / ceilings / SFS
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and commercial processes
- Ability to read and measure from construction drawings
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness
- Full UK driving licence (preferred)
