Supervisors are our Assistant Managers’ right-hand partners. They do more than simply support and occasionally take the reins. As a supervisor, you’ll play a full part in making the restaurant the best it can be. Our restaurants usually have 1 to 2 supervisors, and while the roles may differ slightly depending on whether they’re front of house or back of house, one thing does remain the same: you are on hand to support the team in delivering an amazing guest experience every time!

Our Southern hospitality and freshly cooked to order chicken has attracted thousands through our doors and has proved a great hit with the Brits since we started operations here in the UK. As we expand across the UK, we are building a team of passionate, ambitious, driven people to deliver the best possible guest experience and to help us in opening our new sites.

As a Supervisor for Slim Chickens, you will:

  • Support the Manager in the day-to-day management of the business, both Front of House and Back of House
  • Lead by example and inspire your team to deliver outstanding guest hospitality
  • Act as a brand ambassador, building awareness of the Slim Chickens brand
  • Support with local marketing opportunities to drive sales and the presence of your restaurant and the Slim Chickens brand in your local area
  • Ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures
  • Proactively develop and train your team to be the best at what they do
  • Help in building a passionate, engaged team that provides a great guest experience and can support with future new site opening
  • Provide regular feedback to your teams, demonstrating how they can be the best at their roles

To carry out this role you will need to be over 18.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise Team Members
  • Support the Assistant Managers to oversee all day-to-day restaurant operations to ensure all Company standards are adhered to
  • Ensure that all audit requirements are adhered to, including Health and Safety, Food Audits, Stock take, EHO and Financial Audits
  • Build and maintain an efficient team of employees, driving the team towards the business objectives
  • Support the manager to control costs without compromising standards and the Slims guest experience, through weekly and daily line checks
  • Work in Back of House helping and training the team during peak times
  • Comply with all legislative and Company Food Hygiene and Health & Safety requirements and help to promote a positive safety culture throughout the business

Experience:

  • Proven leadership expertise and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Previous experience working in a management position within the catering and hospitality industry is ideal
  • High level of communication skills with the ability to effectively coach and develop your managers and team
