About the Position
Wendy’s is hiring an Assistant Manager. Under the leadership of the Restaurant General Manager, you will manage the daily operations and staff of a Wendy’s restaurant.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations and staff of a Wendy’s restaurant.
- Lead staff in daily operations, both front of house and back of house.
- Oversee staffing, training, scheduling to build and retain a 5‑star team.
- Coach and develop team members, identify training needs.
- Use effective scheduling to ensure proper coverage.
- Serve as the face of the restaurant to new hires and crew members.
- Support the General Manager in achieving store sales and profit goals.
- Support local marketing opportunities to drive sales and presence.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, health & safety, food audits, stocktake, EHO, financial audits.
- Maintain an efficient team, drive toward business objectives.
- Control costs without compromising standards.
- Assist with back‑of‑house operations during peak times.
- Promote a positive safety culture.
- Travel to other locations as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience leading people, preferably in food service environment.
- 1 year of line operations experience with ability to manage operations in fast‑paced environment.
- 1 year of management experience.
- Flexibility to work 44‑hour work weeks – available all day parts and days of the week.
