WiFi / WLAN Solutions Consultant (Contract – 6 months initially)

Location: Remote (UK-based) with occasional travel to London and customer sites as needed.

We’re expanding our capability in WiFi/WLAN design and deployment under our newly launched partner services framework. We\’re seeking an experienced and technically strong consultant who can own the end-to-end design of enterprise WiFi solutions—from scoping through to knowledge transfer—with a focus on delivery excellence and vendor neutrality.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather customer requirements post-qualification alongside pre-sales teams
• Recommend appropriate vendor technologies based on client needs and environment
• Lead and interpret WiFi surveys and data (Ekahau preferred), working with field partners for on-site work
• Develop High-Level and Low-Level WiFi designs (HLD/LLD)
• Provide technical oversight throughout project deployment
• Deliver knowledge transfer and technical documentation to clients and partners

Skills & Experience

• Mandatory: Strong hands-on experience with Ekahau tools and survey analysis
• Proven track record designing WiFi in complex environments (e.g., warehouses, multi-floor offices)
• Familiarity with multiple WLAN vendors (Cisco, Aruba, Meraki, Ruckus, etc.)
• Capable of leading both the technical design and project engagement end-to-end
• Strong communication skills and experience working closely with both clients and delivery partners

Certifications (Preferred but not essential)

• Vendor-specific WLAN certifications (e.g., CWNP, Cisco Wireless)
