We are working with a growing FinTech firm based in London that delivers institutional-level solutions to highly sophisticated private investors. Due to significant and sustained growth, they are seeking to add an experienced Client Advisor to their team. This innovative firm has launched within the last decade, already managing significant assets. Their culture is progressive, collegiate, high-performance, yet low-ego.
This position is with a highly entrepreneurial firm that has disrupted the private wealth asset management space through technology and data-driven solutions. The firm has expanded its client and asset base recently and aims to continue growing. Recent hires include talent from top-tier institutional and private client firms. The firm combines the culture of a FinTech startup with the delivery of institutional-level service to sophisticated investors.
They seek a well-rounded candidate capable of managing multiple clients, with a strong interest in reinventing wealth management. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of commercial and consultative skills, with knowledge of sophisticated investment products across public and private markets, and a deep understanding of the UK UHNWI market.
This role is broad in scope, offering significant responsibilities, including:
- Advising Ultra High Net Worth Clients
- Providing comprehensive financial advice, considering implications for wrappers and investment management
- Contributing to lifestyle financial planning strategies
- Participating in firm-building initiatives
The ideal candidate should have:
- Over 5 years of experience delivering financial advice to UHNW clients, with at least 1 year in a client advisory role
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with UHNW clients
- Experience advising on investments across public and private markets
- Strong technical knowledge of trusts, pensions, and intergenerational planning
- Experience with financial planning software
- Advanced Diploma or near completion, or Chartered/Certified Financial Planner (Level 6/7)
- Technical understanding of cash flow-based planning
- Curious, eager to learn and improve
- Motivated, high standards of personal excellence
- Interest in technology development and workflow optimization
- Independent thinking, ego-free attitude
