Are you a hands-on Vehicle Technician or someone with strong mechanical or electrical experience working on cars? This is a unique opportunity to take your skillset in a new direction – working not on the vehicles themselves, but on the highly advanced Crash Test Dummies used in automotive safety testing. You’ll play a critical role in preparing, installing, maintaining and calibrating these life-saving devices for crash test programs, including Euro NCAP assessments, ensuring they meet strict international standards.
What You’ll Do
- Install and remove Crash Test Dummies in vehicles before and after tests
- Carry out mechanical, electrical, and electronic setup, maintenance and calibration
- Ensure dummies comply with Euro NCAP protocols and regulatory standards
- Take physical measurements and record test data in structured reports
- Follow precise procedures to ensure accuracy and repeatability in testing
- Occasionally support out-of-hours or inter-departmental work
