Underwriter - Motor Finance

Social network you want to login/join with: Our client, a motor finance lender, is looking to appoint an ambitious Underwriter to join their growing team and support expansion plans. The role involves assessing a customer\’s ability to afford loan repayments, reviewing and analysing customer account information and data provided by credit referencing agencies. The responsibilities include: Ensuring sufficient data is available to produce accurate credit reports. Aligning the credit profile with the firm’s risk appetite. Establishing lending limits for individual customers. Verifying that the vehicle meets lending criteria. Engaging and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, such as the Acquisition team and brokers. This is a key role supporting the growth of an exciting business, offering opportunities for progression and development. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of underwriting experience within a motor finance firm. You should be analytical, detail-oriented, able to communicate effectively with stakeholders, comfortable working in a high-paced, high-volume environment, and possess the adaptability and ingenuity to explore alternative outcomes to benefit both the firm and the customer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
