They have strong relationships with their brokers and focus on client-centric underwriting. Due to expansion, a position for an Existing Business Trading Underwriter has arisen in Manchester.

Your new role: Develop and maintain broker relationships, deliver excellent customer service, manage renewals, collaborate with your team, and handle large renewal cases. Operate within your delegated authority and identify process improvements. Support and act as a referral point for Underwriting Assistants.

What you'll need to succeed: Experience in Commercial Underwriting, particularly in Property and Casualty, is essential. You should be self-motivated, relationship-oriented, quick learner, team player, and deadline-driven. Good communication and organisational skills, proficiency in MS Word and Excel, and ideally Cert CII/ACII qualification are required.
