Lorienβs UK leading Life and Pensions client are currently looking for a highly skilled Trading Technology Delivery Lead to join the team on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the Trading Technology Team supporting both Capital Markets and PIO solutions.
- Work with the sponsor, key stakeholder, AM COO and other technology solutions to meet the needs of the business and land seamlessly into BAU.
- Build and manage the capability of the Trading Technology Delivery Team.
- Partner with Front Office, COO Heads and key members of the Technology, Transformation and Data team to ensure delivery of business outcomes in the Trading eco-system.
- As an integral part of the Transformation, Technology and Data Team, actively work to develop our structure, capability, talent, and practices.
- Build a strong network with the AM COO team to ensure initiatives are effectively and safely transitioned from Change into BAU with necessary controls and governance.
Key Skills:
- Extensive experience in a technology role within Asset Management or Financial Services with direct exposure to Trading & Portfolio Management, Data and Risk solutions.
- Strong understanding of Front Office functions, including Trading and Portfolio Management.
- Experience of Trade Order Management systems (Aladdin would be highly beneficial).
- Strong understanding of integration with quant tooling and data architectures.
- Knowledge of Capital Market products (including derivatives) including the full trade lifecycle.
- Strong stakeholder management and engagement skills.
- Excellent communication, influencing and facilitation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work across multiple subject areas, or a single large or complicated subject area.
- Experience in modern ways of working (examples include Agile, CI/CD, DevOps, Test Automation).
- Confidence in dealing with people at all levels within and outside of the delivery organisation, including partner and client organisations.
- Issue management, prioritisation, and ability to provide pragmatic direction which is consistent with capital markets longer-term strategy.
- Able to show resilience, flexibility and adapt to changing schedules and priorities.
