Job Description:

We are seeking a Technical Product Manager / IoT Product Manager / Technical Product Designer for a world-leading manufacturer of fire, heat, and smoke safety hardware and software solutions. The role involves ensuring cohesion among a range of connected products and developing new products, potentially expanding into new markets.

This is a hands-on, hybrid role based in Hertfordshire, requiring active engagement in the product development process and collaboration with internal teams and customers.

The responsibilities include:

1. Managing the product roadmap from ideation to launch and beyond.
2. Collaborating with Sales, Engineering, and other internal stakeholders to develop successful products.
3. Identifying opportunities to adapt legacy products for new markets.
4. Gathering customer feedback for product improvement.
5. Ensuring cohesion between connected hardware and software products.

Ideal candidates will have:

1. At least 3 years of B2B or B2C product management experience with hardware or related products.
2. An academic background in electronic or mechanical engineering or design.
3. Optional software experience, such as app development.
4. Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and stakeholder engagement.
